I am the proud owner of a bamboo spork which I purchased for around $2. The bspork has become a useful tool around my desk during the lunch hour. Before the bspork I was always either forgetting to bring in the right utensil, using something disposable (not green), or never bringing the utensil item home (note to self...remember to take steak knife out of car glove compartment today.)
On the face of it you would think I would like the Din-ink. What could possibly be wrong with utensil like settings that fit on your ballpoint pen? Well, a few things bother me abut this. First, I sometimes chew on my ink pen. Imagine the disaster that could occur if I forget to take off the fork twines!
Actually, Din-ink isn't a bad idea...but the design competition was entitled "dining in 2015". If dining in 2015 has come down to plastic attachments for writing so I never have to leave my desk humanity has headed in the wrong direction.
Come on now, 2015! shouldn't I be drinking some Tang Gel flavored like wahsabi tuna?
