This KML displays the following:
1) 1km MODIS fire detections for the past 12 hours, 12-24 hours and the previous 6 day period; and,
2) location of current large wildland fire incidents (>100 acres in
timber; >300 acres in grasslands/shrublands) as provided by the
National Interagency Coordination Center (NICC).
Data current
as of 21-Oct-2007; 2100 Mountain Time (22-Oct-2007; 300 UTC). KML file
generated by the USDA Forest Service MODIS Active Fire Mapping Program.
